Liberation

2025 is a year of celebration, we are marking 80 years of liberation! In Dordrecht, this moment came on May 9, when the Canadians arrived, as clearly seen in this photo.

The arrival of the Canadian troops led to ecstatic crowds filling the streets of Dordrecht. This photo was taken at Groenmarkt, showing a Halftrack driving through the street, followed by the youth of Dordrecht.
