Cannon on the Sluisweg
A Dutch 4.7 cm PAK Böhler cannon rests behind a sandbag position on the Sluisweg in Dordrecht. A German soldier stands behind the cannon. Given the number of civilians observing the cannon and the German soldier, the photo was taken after the battle. It was too dangerous for civilians to be wandering during the fighting. The Sluisweg also, has changed significantly compared to the situation in May 1940. However, the houses on the right and the Great Church in the background are still standing, making this picture possible.
