Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten

May 1945, members of the Dordrecht Domestic Forces are lined up in Nieuwe Haven in Dordrecht. They carry a wide variety of weapons. However, it is unclear what the tubes are that they almost all seem to be carrying. The Domestic Forces were a collective name for various resistance groups and illegal organizations that existed during the occupation. In September 1944, Prince Bernhard ordered these resistance groups to merge into the Dutch Domestic Forces.
