Nieuwe Haven

A beautiful shot of the Nieuwe Haven in Dordrecht with the Great Church prominently featured in the background. On the right, two German soldiers are walking along the young tree’s. During the war, the Nieuwe Haven was mainly used by inland vessels of the Kriegsmarine. In the Kooiman house, near the current Museum 1940-1945, there was an office of the Kriegsmarine. It is possible that the museum building itself may have also been used.
