Parsonage Antonius Church

A German soldier poses next to the burned-out rectory on the Burgemeester de Raadtsingel shortly after the events of May 1940. During the intense fighting between German troops of the Gruppe de Boer and Dutch units of the Light Division in this sector, the rectory and the adjacent church were completely destroyed due to the fighting. Both the church and the rectory were rebuilt after the war and are still standing to this day.
