General at the Bosboom-Toessain school

General Erich Höcker walks with several officers of his staff towards the entrance of the school on the Bosboom-Toussaintstraat in Krispijn. This was the staff quarters of the 2nd Battalion of Infantry Regiment 723. This battalion was part of the 719th Infantry Division, which Erich Höcker commanded from May 1941 to January 1944. The 719th Infantry Division was stationed in Dordrecht from June 1941 to May 1944. The units of the division were spread across the island.
