Liberation of Johan de Witt Bridge
A liberation crowd on the Johan de Wittbrug in Dordrecht during the liberation of the city. Dordrecht was only liberated on May 8, 1945, by the Canadian army. Once it happened, it led to great exuberant celebrations in the city. After five years of war, people were finally liberated!
