Posing at the Lange Gelderdse kade

German soldiers pose, presumably with women from Dordrecht, for a photo at the Lange Geldersekade near the Grote Kerk. At the beginning of the war, the atmosphere between the occupiers and the residents was still relatively amicable. This would soon change as the war progressed. It is unknown who the women in the photo are and in what capacity they were acquainted with the Germans in the photo.
