Domestic Armed Forces in front of the City Hall
Members of the Dordrecht Domestic Armed Forces stand with their weapons positioned at the city hall during the liberation. In Dordrecht, the liberation proceeded relatively calmly, without the major incidents with German forces that occurred elsewhere in the country. The Domestic Armed Forces took on the role of maintaining order and arresting collaborators until the arrival of the Canadian liberators.
