Police station Willemsdorp

The police troops barracks in Willemsdorp. In this photo, the building has been taken over by the Germans. It has been renamed ‘Villa Sorgenfrei’. Even before mobilization, the building was used by Dutch troops of the Corps of Police Troops. After the battles in May 1940, the German occupiers took it over. Possibly as quarters or as a Wehrmachtsheim. In the photos, we see German soldiers in front of the building.
