A German paratrooper at the Berkenhof farm in May 1940.

The farm still exists today. In May 1940, it served as a field dressing station for wounded Dutch and German soldiers. In this photo, we see a German paratrooper, and in the doorway, a Dutch prisoner of war, identifiable by the uniforms they are wearing.
