German paratroopers at the Berkenhof farm in May 1940. The farm still exists today. In May 1940, the farm served as a first aid post for wounded Dutch and German soldiers. In this photo, we see some German paratroopers next to a dropping container with medical supplies. Behind them are some Dutch prisoners of war.
